• Aluminum foil pouches provide durability and impermeability to water vapor and gases. Compared to similar packaging materials, it is relatively inexpensive. By adding one or more layers of a thin transparent plastic film (such as polyethylene or polypropylene) to the aluminum foil, another layer of water vapor transmission resistance is produced while providing an effective heat seal package.
